Building radiotherapy capacity through training— opportunities and barriers
Dr. Rebecca Wong is a Professor and Vice Chair of Education, and Staff Radiation Oncologist at Princess Margaret Cancer Centre in Toronto, Canada. In this episode, she discusses different approaches to build collaborative partnerships across High and Low-Middle Income Countries, and the importance of professional training in radiotherapy capacity building. She shares her experience from the perspective of a collaborating department, with special focus on understanding enablers and barriers, and in the process mapping a strategy towards capturing impact and building sustainability.
