Coming closer to achieving Target 4 of the World Cancer Declaration: ‘Ensure Universal Coverage of the HPV/HBV Vaccines. The GAVI Alliance is a global public-private partnership of immunisation stakeholders committed to accelerating access to new and existing underused vaccines in low-income countries.Co-financing countries, GAVI Alliance donors, and vaccine manufacturers will assemble this coming Monday, 13th June, in London to address the need to raise USD 3.7 billion to scale up the GAVI immunisation programmes between 2011 and 2015. This will allow GAVI to roll out new and prioritised vaccines.
